Rico Paris, born Paris Lazerus Powell, in Vancouver, Canada is not only the Owner/Instructor of RNŚZ Training Group but is also coined as American athlete, actor, and model. In his early years Paris traveled the world with his parents whom toured as Performing Recording Artist. During that time he learned to speak several languages and experienced diverse cultured living. This gave him the opportunity to live in many places such as Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, Guam, and Germany. ​After living in over 20 countries he moved to Nola about 15 years ago. Through great friends and now family who pushed him into the Latin dance scene Rico has had a passion for the craft ever since. After several years of training under Tropik Vybe, who left the greater new Orleans area in 2022, Paris has started his training group to continue to enrich the New Orleans dance community.
